In December 2008, Actors Scene Unseen will present a special double program of A Child’s Christmas in Wales. A Child’s Christmas in Wales will be broadcast live from the Charlotte Hilton and Towers, Charlotte, North Carolina, in front of a live audience while simultaneously broadcast across the Internet on Actors Scene Unseen. At intermission, a live phone Interview with the playwright, from his home in Cardiff, Wales.

We welcome Mr. Herbert Williams from “across the pond” to our Actors Scene Unseen family of playwrights. Mr. Williams' adaptation of A Child's Christmas in Wales was commissioned by the BBC and broadcast on its network Radio 4 service on December 25, 1994. It was originally produced in Wales for the UK network. Mr. Williams is an accomplished and award-winning author and poet. He has written extensively for BBC television and radio. His awards include a Hawthornden Poetry Fellowship and a top prize in the Rhys Davies Short Story Competition. He is a Fellow of the Welsh Academy and a member of the Society of Authors.
