For a limited time only submit a full-length work for the same submission fee
as a one-act or short play -- just $35.
Most of the publishers we work with in our season will not consider a script for
publication unless it has had a significant production. For these publishers
Actors Scene Unseen productions are significant.
EXPressIt Productions
is a new service from Actors Scene Unseen that can deliver a significant production
production credit. Your play can dovetail seamlessly into our current season offerings.
What on-demand publishing has brought to the literary and independent music worlds,
Actors Scene Unseen brings to the theatre world.
ExpressIt Productions are created on a fixed, pre-negotiated price
and are inclusive of all time and material required by the format of the production
type (theatre, sets, props, costumes, Internet bandwidth, promotion, etc). There
is a nonrefundable submission fee for each play submitted for ExpressIt Productions
consideration. For a limited time only submit a full-length work for the same submission
fee as a one-act or short play -- just $35. The submission fee will be applied to the
production price when your project is costed. You play will be evaluated by no less than two readers and
you will receive detailed feedback and recommendations about your play's suitability
for each of the available formats. You feedback will include marketing research
on the estimated popularity of your play in the selected format.

Do not submit scripts by email. Send an email describing the theme of your project
and wait for authorization to submit your script. When instructed to do so, submit
your script by post and enclose a check covering $75 for each full-length or long
one-act work, and $35 for each short one-act or short story to be reviewed.

Why is there a Submission Fee?
Unlike most on-demand book publishers, Actors Scene Unseen has a full schedule of
its own productions. The thorough and careful evaluation of a script requires time
and research. Also unlike on-demand book publishers, Actors Scene Unseen can provide
a number of different productions format. The evaluation of the artistic and marketing
merits of a script and its suitability for each of these formats takes the time
of dedicated professionals.
